This program includes  lifting days + one movement & recovery day per week. This program willmaintain your strength, flexibility, mobility, and prevent injury during your season. Each exercise comes with "alternative exercises" Your workout includes soft tissue, mobility and stability, muscle activation, movement prep, movement skills, light power, plyometric, and speed work, power development, core strength, strength development, and conditioning.
Marty is a former professional and collegiate hockey player turned performance enhancement coach that currently runs Marty Strength Inc. and is the Strength and Conditioning Director at Everest Academy. During the off-season, he trains amateur and professional hockey players Marty played junior hockey in Ontario before earning a scholarship to play division 1 hockey for The Univerisity of Umass Lowell where he was a three-year captain. After graduating from university, Marty attended the Detroit Red Wings main camp and played professional hockey in North America and Europe. Working as a head strength and conditioning coach and on-ice skills coach at Varsity Hockey, Marty started to hone his skills and develop elite level hockey players. Through 15 + years of experience as a hockey coach, performance enhancement coach, and elite on-ice skills coach Marty has developed some of the most effective training programs for hockey players and other sport athletes.
